
Exercise Prescription & Rehabilitation
Exercise prescription is an essential component of physiotherapy for all rehabilitation programs. The physiotherapist will prescribe targeted exercises to clients depending on the goals of treatment and their level of functional ability. These exercises are meant to be performed in the clinic and as part of a home exercise program.
These are common conditions that present to the clinic for appropriate rehabilitation:
Osteoarthritis exercise program and management
Pre-hab exercises prior to surgery
Post operative rehabilitation for a variety of surgeries such as joint replacement surgery
Rehabilitation post sports injury required to prevent further injury and / or re-injury
Posture re-training
Balance re-training and reducing falls risk
Bullcreek Physiotherapy is passionate about assisting each individual on reaching their individual rehabilitation goals. We focus on helping you figure out your goals, how to achieve them and then educate you to continue to do this independently.
Each exercise program is individualised and is based on the findings of a thorough assessment completed by one of our physiotherapists. We use an App to assist clients remember these exercises by watching videos as they need.
Our physiotherapists participate in regular professional development sessions to ensure exercise prescription is evidence based for each injury.
