
Exercise Rehabilitation / Clinical Pilates Sessions
Bullcreek Physiotherapy offer individualised exercise sessions for rehabilitation of injuries and biomechanical faults.
Our Physiotherapists use a variety of exercise rehabilitation approaches in improving the recruitment and muscle strength after injuries.
Exercises within these sessions include using weights, resistance bands, rollers, balance pads, as well as the Clinical Pilates Movement Based Classification & Treatment (MCBT) approach utilizing Clinical Reformers and Trapeze Tables. These sessions can help assist people with injuries recover quicker and regain their full movement and strength post injury.
Clinical Pilates MBCT is an excellent exercise progression for any musculoskeletal ailment, upper or lower limb problems or whole body area pain and general core stability weakness. We combine these principals with other exercise progressions for biomechanical faults, muscle weaknesses, poor motor recruitment and poor postural muscle tone. We also know that the brain likes variety, and it is essential to retrain core stability muscles in a variety of positions.
These sessions are run by all of our physiotherapists, who have all attended DMA Clinical Pilates courses specifically targeted for physiotherapists.
What you need to do:
Book in for an 40 minute Exercise Rehabilitation Assessment with any of our Physiotherapists
During this session the physiotherapist will discuss with you your personal goals and aims, as well as assess you in various positions & postures to help establish your initial program.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing to this session
Private Health Fund rebate is available as per a physiotherapy consultation
The exercise sessions:
Are an hour long in duration
Have only a maximum of 3 people in the group to ensure individualised and safe programs are being delivered with time for re-assessments during session.
The classes will focus on core stability as well as upper & lower limb strengthening and flexibility, muscle weakness, postural control and optimal motor recruitment.
Each client will have their own program based on individual goals and requirements
Focus on an improvement in coordination, balance, strength and flexibility which will help prevent your injury from re-occurring, and improve motor skills and posture.
